As I’ve gone along this journey this month in becoming more accountable for what I’m eating, what movement I’m allowing myself to do and how I’m feeling as I do the 30 Days to a Healthier You, I’ve become increasingly in tune with what is going on and the changes that are happening in my body. The funniest thing is… some of the things that are happening within my body are not all together… pleasant. Something I am eating, although it is healthier, does not agree with my digestive track and, by the evening, I’ve got gas. It’s quite “not sexy,” to say the least.

Last night, as has become the pattern for the evenings, Kait and I were watching Charmed on netflix (Love streaming netflix!) and… well… I farted. Twice. It wasn’t elegant, by any means. But neither was it a grand production. Either way, it was “scented.” It reeked, actually! And Kaitlyn said, “MO-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-M!!!! OH! That is gross! Maybe you ought to go back to eating unhealthy food because at least, then, when you farted, you didn’t smell like that!”

Out of the mouths of babes…

Still laughing my ass off about that one. And no… laughing does not make me fart, so you’re safe to enter the room.
