She: How do you do it, Angie?
Me: Do what?
She: Make it seem like you’re always happy. How do you do it?
Me: It’s a choice.
She: But… *no one* can be *that* happy all. the. time.
Me: I’m hearing that you think I’m happy all the time.
She: Yes!
Me: Thank you for that feedback!
She: But it’s impossible to be happy all. the. time.
Me: Is it? You seem to think I’m happy all the time so… is it *that* impossible?

I love conversations like this!

Truth is… I *choose* Love and Joy. I *choose* to view my life through these lenses so I am watching for that which feels like Love and Joy. And, although I experience sadness, fear, and anger, and other emotions that feel like they cannot possibly be part of Love and Joy, I have learned that even within those, there IS Love and Joy. And that, truly, all there is is Love and Joy.
