It’s starting to happen… the phenomenon of going out in public and being recognized by face or name. In various places I have been over the last little while, I’ve been rushed by shiny-faced people who are smiling brightly and gasping, “YOU are Angie Millgate! I’ve been wanting to meet you for… forever!” It is a surreal experience and when I hear, “Your facebook posts always lift me up,” or “Your book changed my life,” I feel this delicious combo platter of humility, gratitude, appreciation and love. It is a delightful experience that surprises me each and every time because somehow, someway, there is still part of me that believes that no one is watching or listening. I do what I do because it brings me joy and peace and sometimes I forget that when I am in love, it overflows on to those in my world. These moments when another beams love at me are reminders that I am on my divine path and I feel grateful.

So, today, I am appreciating… * my willingness to go within and find myself * that I have stuck to this adventure, as tumultuous as it has been at times, over the decade so that I could be here now * the practice of going within * facing the silence and the dark to find and embrace the Light * the response to my book, Above the Clouds that shows up in the most unexpected of places * touching the Light * feeling myself being fully alive * realizing that it is me, truly, that is the creator of my destiny * dreams that leave me feeling curious.

I am loving my life.

    Wow!
Found your blogradio show of 13/5/11 whilst browsing the net. I just loved how you talked, the message you send out, your love of so many things close to my heart.
I too am on a path of awakening. In fact I am in the eye of the storm (it’s not a storm really but couldn’t think of a better word). It’s a great time for me spiritually as I look out at the world from a place of knowing whilst trying to calm the current choppy waters of my physical world.
Speaking of “somedody’s watching.” You just reached Liverpool UK
    Keep inspiring

    • Thank you, Steve, for taking the time to drop me a note and let me know how you experience me. I really appreciate being able to link with people of like-minds and to hear of their journeys. I feel really excited that your path in Liverpool has crossed paths with mine here in America. Be well, my new friend!

        Hi Angie
Our paths have crossed for a reason be it brief or be it more long term.
Like you I have young children. At this point in my journey am learning to trust my inner self/intuition so as to help guide them forward into adulthood.
Only this morning I discovered a video regarding education/children. As our paths crossed this day I felt it may be a co-incidence so am forwarding it to you.
It may be of no use whatsoever but that’s okay.

I have been working on a book about what to tell our kids on how to succeed in the next generation. What with outsourcing, globalization, financial crisis and dire future trends with the climate, population and resources it is a bit complicated. I like your positive attitude and a love of life, go girl you are on track. Love to incorporate any thoughts you have. (I have a chapter of advice from around the nation).

While the book is unfinished the blog goes on and on… http://wp.me/p1yBNt-20

    • Thanks, Mike, for your feedback and your invitation to check out your blog and, possibly, participate in your book adventure. That sounds very intriguing and like a mammoth undertaking! YAY YOU! I look forward to staying connected and learning together.
